After our trek from beach to beach we cut inland to see Costa Rica's active volcano, Mt. Arenal. Here you can see smoke from an eruption. Viewed: 1140 times.

At the base of Arenal are natural hot springs heated by the volcano.. This is Tabacón resort, one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Viewed: 1158 times.

The hot springs are magical, and you've got the beautiful rain forest on either side of you and a view of an active volcano above you. In a word: Incredible. :-)
