Today is Day 3 of our Lalibela tour. We rented donkeys to ride up a nearby mountain to another church built at the top. For me they brought a small horse.

Sara's donkey was surefooted and strong. My horse was neither - at times I wanted to get off and help push.

On top of the mountain, this tunnel led right up into the rock and into the church. It was very well concealed and very cool!

Lalibela is a very isolated town. Last night we were going from restaurant to hotel to restaurant trying to find a coke, but they were all sold out! Up here on the mountain they had one. Sara bought it because she is a selfish, selfish girl...
