On Friday Jonathon, Eric and I met at the Canada House for our free lunch. The Canada house is a support house for the friends and family of Canadian Olympians, and had three free meals a day plus regular receptions for the Canadian medalists.

In an effort to make itself look more green, this building actually had grass growing on all of it's walls. How? I'm not sure.

For the javelin competition they had remote controlled cars to take the javelins from where they were thrown back to the competitors.

We had great seats to watch the womens long jump. Well, Megs family did and I just sat with them and hoped the real ticket owners wouldn't throw me out. :-)

Next on the track: the finals of the womens 4x100 meter relay. Unfortunately both the US mens and womens teams had dropped the baton in the trials.
