Dave and I are all excited about our adventure the day before and decide that we should climb a random hill again. This time, it is in the cold rain while Elodie and Janelle sit in the car and wonder what they are doing with such idiots. :)

So here we are at the foot of the hill looking up at the ruins of an old castle.

This is the little village in the valley that looks up at the castle. It seems surreal to me that people actually live in these places...

Someone is building their dream home in this valley.

There was an old town at the base of the castle. All of the old houses are now gift shops and restaurants. This is a candy store that sells a lot of colorful little candies made from almond paste.

Dave says that I should make a section of the website "Me in places that I shouldn't be." :) Here I am again on the wrong side of a fence, looking like a tool.

The streets of the town looked like they were right out of the middle ages.
