We arrived at the Chora Church Museum before it was open, so we passed the time with tea and conversation.

The Chora Church is of the Byzantine era, built in the 4th century. Today it is a museum containing many restored frescos and mosiacs.

The Chora Church was converted to a mosque in the 15th century, and was known as the Kariye Camisi.

Towards the end of dinner, the iron kettle hanging from the ceiling behind Molly started swinging back and forth seemingly of its own accord. This signaled our time to depart. ;-)
