Vic Falls has more adventure sports than you can shake a stick at. One of the activities that we opted to spring for was a lion walk. We visited a lion orphanage where you can walk with and actually pet the juvenile lions.

The guides instructed us to point our walking sticks at the lion and forcefully say "NO!" if we felt threatened. These guys were pretty playful.

As we were walking up we were thinking that this would probably be the the photo they would show on the news with the line "This photo just taken moments before..." :-)

Luckily we survived the lion walk, and went on a river cruise that night looking for some hippos.

This is the view of the falls and the bridge from the Victoria Falls Hotel. We sneaked in here to get a coffee but they took one look at our bedraggled appearance and wouldn't allow us into the main breakfast hall.

It is a very swanky hotel. One of the servers was kind enough to allow us to hit behind a very nice shed and have our coffee served there. :-)
